How many Weddings do you have per day?
We limit the number of Weddings to one per day
as you are very important to us - we can then concentrate on
making your special day just perfect.
Can we have our ceremony outside?
We are excited to be able to say that we are
in the process of licensing and planning a special outdoor area for
civil ceremonies. Once we have pictures and more information we
will let you know so watch this space!
Do you allow outside catering?
We don’t need to! Our experienced Chefs work
alongside you to develop an authentic meal. We have even used Chefs
from all over the world to give us tips on making sure your Wedding
breakfast is exactly as wished. The feedback from Weddings we
have catered for has been fantastic and we have created menus for
Indian, Italian, South African and Spanish couples in the past.
What is your minimum and maximum number?
You can have an intimate Wedding for 2 or
invite up to 130 guests. For numbers over 130 we have stunning
lawns that are perfect for a marquee so do not worry about cutting
the guest list down.
How long does each section of the day take?
- The ceremony (if required) 30 minutes
- A refreshing drinks reception whilst the
photographs are being taken is normally 1 hour 30 minutes
- The receiving line (optional) should be about
30 minutes
- A three-course Wedding breakfast with coffee
and petit fours is 2 hours
- Speeches are usually 30 minutes unless the
Best man really gets going!
- Cutting the cake takes 5 minutes which is
just long enough to get the perfect picture
- The evening entertainment sets-up whilst we
turn the room into the evening reception and unless you have a 12
piece band we have the room ready in 45 minutes - you can then
dance the night away until midnight!
- After midnight any of your guests staying
overnight are welcome to retire to our main hotel bar
What time can my suppliers set-up from?
The room is yours for the whole day so any of
your suppliers can set-up from 7.00am.
Do you have chair covers?
We hire chair covers for you and there is a
wide choice of coloured bows, these will be set up on the day so
you don’t have to do anything.
Is a Toastmaster included?
Our Toastmaster has been working along side
the Wedding team for a number of years so you are in very capable
hands. The Toastmaster is included in the room hire price so you
don’t need to worry about booking one.

Do you allow confetti?
We allow dried and fresh rose petals/flowers
outside and they look lovely scattered down the red carpet too
