Matt was delighted to be invited back to compete on this years
BBC's Great British Menu. This year's chefs once again will
aim to plate up perfection, as they fight it out for the chance to
cook at a glorious banquet marking 100 years of the Womens
Institute at London's historic Drapers Hall. Tune in to BBC2
at 7.30pm on Monday 21st September to watch Matt in the
South East regional heat.
The Autumn of 2014 was a busy one for Matt Gillan, Head
Chef at Matt Gillan at The Pass has he once again featured on our
TV screens in not one but two BBC TV programmes.
In a new day time show, A Taste of
Britain, Matt appeared in the episode featuring
Sussex. Aired in September, Matt's Sussex Wagyu beef dish was
a real hit with presenters Brian Turner and Janet Street Porter.
The cows are now residents in our own fields so Matt is able to
keep an even keener eye on them!
And, in his first foray into live TV, Matt was honoured, if a
little nervous, to be asked on Saturday Kitchen in
October. Creating a delicious dish with an unusual cut, a short rib
of beef or Jacobs Ladder, James Martin and the other show guests -
