Matt was delighted to be invited back to compete on this years
BBC's Great British Menu. This year's chefs once again aimed to
plate up perfection, as they fought it out for the chance to cook
at the dramatic banquet marking 100 years of the Women's Institute
at London's historic Drapers Hall. Matt certainly took on the
challenge creating four fantastic courses; Sowing and Growing,
Jamming and Canning, Teaching and Preaching, and Back to Black (and
Yellow). After a tough week Matt was delighted to win the London
and South East heat. He then took on his fellow regional winners in
a fantastic finals week. And what a week it was resulting in Matt's
main course winning straight through to the banquets with 10's
across the board, a first in the history of Great British
Menu. Congratulations Matt!
Matt is delighted to be hosting and teaching a class
at SEASON, The Exclusive Cookery School on Friday 25th March 2016
where he will recreating his winning Great British Menu dish while
giving a masterclass in goat!
