The Kitchen
As you would expect from a busy five-star
hotel, the kitchen is a hot bed of activity and passion. Serving
two restaurants, room service, conference and banqueting, private
dining and The Bar, it has to run with regimental
precision.
Awards
Headed by Lewis Hamblet and closely supported by Matt
Gillan, the kitchen brigade have very detailed parts to play,
especially as the hotel is expanding both its dining and bedroom
offering.
Lewis is continually developing new ideas, menus and
techniques to keep guests experiences fresh and tasty and is
regularly acknowledged with various premier dining awards including
3 AA rosettes.

And they are flat out with very impressive plans to introduce a
new dining exerience and live cooking theatre, The Pass,
alongside a special Chefs Table to further place South Lodge
on the premier culinary map... make sure you are first in the queue
to reserve a table.
